Here’s the honest version, because that’s the only version I do.
Some links on kristinconnors.com are affiliate links. That means if you click one and buy or book something, I may earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change the price you pay, and it never changes what I recommend.
My rule (the important part)
I only link to things I actually bought, used, stayed at, or did — and loved. Every hotel link is a hotel I slept in. Every product link is something I own. If I didn’t pay for it and love it, it doesn’t get a link. Commissions keep this site running; they don’t buy my opinions.
The programs
I currently participate in, or may participate in, affiliate and creator programs including:
- Amazon Associates — I earn from qualifying purchases made through Amazon links.
- ShopMy — I earn commission on products I recommend through my ShopMy shop.
- Booking.com — I earn commission on completed stays booked through my Booking.com links.
- Meta/Facebook — I may earn through creator monetization on social content.
This list may grow as I join new programs. The rule above applies to all of them.
What this means for you
Nothing sneaky. A link marked as a recommendation is a genuine recommendation — the commission is just a thank-you from the retailer for sending you their way. If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, you can always search for the hotel or product directly.
This post contains affiliate links. If you book or buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — it keeps the rosé flowing. I only link to places I’ve stayed and things I own and love.
